Otus scops | Sardegna | June 2023

While in northern Italy the scops owl, one of the smallest "owlets" in Europe, comes to nest in the summer, in the south of the peninsula and on the larger islands it is possible to find it all year round. So its characteristic song "Q" can be heard in Sardinia as in Salento even on cold winter nights!
